	Everyone still is talking about what to do in the future, about the use of oil etc, when the crisis is still spreading unabated- today to Florida, tomorrow to the East Coast and then on to the entire ocean… We appear unable, or unwilling, to stand up to BP and to do what needs to be done to protect ourselves. We need to demand that the president takes immediate charge of the situation. This means that a vigorous cleanup will begin immediately, and will be run exclusively by the US government. That we will consider all means to clean this up, especially the use of supertankers (as the Saudis did,) and anything any other government or scientific agency can suggest. That we will find and use all of the non-toxic ways to mop up (or eat up) the oil and will immediately stop the use of Corexit. That the clean-up workers will be protected from the same toxins which left some workers in Alaska permanently disabled. That the damaged parties will not have to wait for weeks for a small payment from BP, but instead, will have the weight of the government behind their claims. And that BP will no longer be in charge of any of the information about, or reporting of, the spill. But, then, all of this supposes that we have a president who really is in charge, rather than one who just says he is. 	Big Ed! We need your voice on my solution for immigration reform-Send AG/Justice folks in to set up sting operations for employers! Much like the dope/prostitution/stolen property stings, just set up with 4 Latinos at a home depot and put up notices in beauty parlors looking for jobs as housekeeper and cruising neighborhoods with lawn tools and start arresting employers!!! 	My brother Emilio is also American, but choose to work part time. He is very skilled at construction and find jobs outside the home depot here. Any crackdown program by the government would make him not have work for long time. Right now, things are pretty good, but if the government get involved, people that hire him will either start doing it theirself or get some kid to do it for half the price and lot less quality.
