Hi, i was happy about the way you dealt with this Israel issue.
I listened Spitzer earlier on the Ratigan show and i found his way of justifying the IDF intervention very un professional and biaised , trying to say that the IDF intervention was legal ... it was not....

no one talks about the lack of clean up. Bring in the supertankers, Stop the Corexit, Get BP out of control. The president needs to lead or to get out of the way!!

I hear a lot of people talking about the lack of cleanup in the Gulf, even to the point of comparing it with the time and cost of the cleanup off the coast of Alaska in the Exxon Valdez disaster. I think one of the reasons the BP-Gulf disaster has gone on so long is that BP wants to recapture their oil and minimize the amount lost. I think that's one of the reasons they initially forecast the leak at 1,000 gallons per day. No oil company wants scavenger boats and ships coming in, sucking up the oil they paid to discover and build a well for and leaving the scene with. They don't want anyone to have free oil, not scavengers, not the American people. Now, it will be less free because the price is going up and the stockholders at BP are very very concerned because oil losses mean money losses mean losses in stock profits. What's needed is an absorbent which I think BP knows about but is very unwilling to use because it means the absorbed oil becomes less capable of being recaptured. I think BP needs a dispersant, the region doesn't.

The only thing that makes me feel good about the BP Gulf disaster is President Obama's superb leadership in turning things around. He should not put on a wet suit and go down to look at the spill, he shouldn't even have gone to look at the beaches and pick up tar balls; however, he should definitely stay very involved. He didn't create the disaster, he shouldn't clean it up; he's not a janitor! He should continue to lead from Washington and leave the cleanup to the man he hired, Thad Allen, who should force BP to use progressive clean up methods that protect the environment, not BP.
