On the immigration-reform front, a positive by-product of having a national ID would be to eliminate the need of having to register to vote. Everyone who has a national ID is automatically registered to vote. Other countries do things this way. Again, this can be a plus to the implementation of a national ID.

Ed, this "OIL SPILLING INTO THE GULF OF MEXICO," looks very suspecious because of the"PRESIDENT OBAMA" WANTED TO "DRILL BABY DRILL", HAD TO BE
SPOILLED BY THE OIL TRANSPORTER THAT HAD TO BE
CHENEY'S HALLIBARTON WHO IF I AM CORRECT, IS THE
"TRANSPORTER". AND ONLY BECAUSE OF BEEN "CHIP-SKATES, DID NOT ALTAR SOME "GAUGE" THAT WOULD HAD PREVENTED THIS MASS. AGAIN, HALLIBARTON HAS
BEEN MAKING MILLIONS FROM IRAG TO PRESENT.
I SAY , CHENEY AND HALLIBARTON PAY BABY PAY!
A DEMO.

Ed,

Registering to vote is voluntary in the United States. If a national ID is enacted, I don't think having one would be voluntary, therefore registering to vote wouldn't be voluntary. Both the Arizona law and the idea of a national ID are very wrong, numbskull ideas.

From a very long time ago, we, the "intelligencia" parted ways with the (shall we say) "low information" people in our society. I think it's time for another parting of the ways. If we didn't need them to do the jobs we won't do, we'd leave them out of our society altogether. I think we should exercise all of our options and use low information people and immigrants (both legal and illegal) to continue to do our menial work. There's no sense in us doing it ourselves when we have them and machines.

By, the way, Ed, the biggest fear of the Tea Party people, republicans and conservative and reagan democrats is that the society is moving forward without them. We should …, i.e., leave them in the dust bin of history to quibble about things like abortion rights, defense spending, race, etc., while the rest of us all get along nicely.

I have asked you several times to please post your program each night in a timely way, so that I can watch the show here on the west coast. I have come to the conclusion thatyou think you will somehow force me, and others like me to subscribe to your pay for view podcasts. I think you are shooting yourself in the foot. Maybe Vern or someone in your orginization has a piece of the action of subscriptions to your 'pay for podasts', program, but I simply can't afford it. I really like the show but your killing my loyaty with somebody's greed.
